Meet the Staff

Dr. David Dirks graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic (now Northwestern Health Sciences University) in Bloomington MN with Cum Laude honors in 1993. He has treated thousands of patients for neck pain, headaches, whiplash injuries, mid back pain, low back pain, pinched nerves, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, degenerative joint disease, fibromyalgia, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, strain sprain injuries, auto accident injuries, spinal disc problems (disc herniation, disc bulge, disc protrusion). He has focused his post-graduate studies on auto accident injury treatment and radiology. 

Dr. Dirks grew up in Lakeville, MN as an ice hockey player and became interested in Chiropractic after suffering hockey injuries. He moved to North Carolina in 1995 and lives in Winterville, NC with his wife, Debra (office manager), and children.

Debra is the Dirks Chiropractic office manager and Dr. Dirks' wife. She has been working in Chiropractic since 1996 in the North Carolina and Minnesota offices. She enjoys helping patients with any insurance or billing concerns.

Julie joined our staff in 2016 and enjoys helping patients regain their health through Chiropractic. She lives in Washington NC. She is a certified clinical Chiropractic assistant and works in the Greenville NC location.

Ann Marie is originally from Yorktown, VA and moved to Greenville, NC in 2017 to study at ECU. She is currently an Exercise Physiology major with intent to pursue her Ph.D. in physical therapy. Throughout her high school years, she volunteered as a student aide in the school's athletic department in combination with a mentorship program under a local physical therapist. She is a certified clinical Chiropractic assistant. She enjoys working with patient to be healthier and hopes that working in our Chiropractic office will only add to her experience in the health care field.
