Dr. David Dirks graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic (now Northwestern Health Sciences University) in Bloomington MN with Cum Laude honors in 1993. He has treated thousands of patients for neck pain, headaches, whiplash injuries, mid back pain, low back pain, pinched nerves, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, degenerative joint disease, fibromyalgia, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, strain sprain injuries, auto accident injuries, spinal disc problems (disc herniation, disc bulge, disc protrusion). He has focused his post-graduate studies on auto accident injury treatment and radiology.
Dr. Dirks grew up in Lakeville MN as an ice hockey player and became interested in Chiropractic after suffering hockey injuries. He moved to North Carolina in 1995 and currently lives in Winterville NC with his wife, Debra (office manager), and children.

Debra is the Dirks Chiropractic office manager and Dr. Dirks' wife. She has been working in Chiropractic since 1996 in the North Carolina and Minnesota offices. She enjoys helping patients with therapy and any billing / insurance concerns.
Dr.Cheryl ScottChiropractic Physician
Dr. Scott is a native of Pinetown NC and has practiced Chiropractic and taught college classes in the Washington area for over 20 years. She graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1997 with Cum Laude Honors. She has focused her practice on diversified musculoskeletal treatment techniques. Dr. Scott joined our team in 2013 and enjoys helping patients of all ages. Dr. Scott works in the Williamston and Greenville locations.
Dr. Cecil Walker
Dr. Cecil Walker graduated from Cleveland College of Chiropractic in Kansas City, Missouri in 1984 and began practice in Louisburg, North Carolina in 1985. During his career as a chiropractor, he has been fortunate enough to treat thousands of patients with various presenting symptoms: low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, headaches, auto accident injuries and various other conditions.
Prior to receiving his doctorate in Chiropractic, Dr. Walker earned a MA degree from the University of Iowa with a specialty in rehabilitation counseling. During his role as a rehabilitation counselor/consultant, Dr. Walker assisted disabled individuals reengage in gainful employment. Many of his clients had undergone lumbar disc surgery and it prompted Dr. Walker to investigate alternative natural non-surgical forms of treatment. This began his quest to become a chiropractor so that he could serve his patients with a natural non-surgical form of healthcare.
Dr. Walker resides with his wife, Julie in Farmville, North Carolina. When not at work, Dr. Walker spends his leisure time organic gardening, hydroponic gardening and woodworking.

Julie lives in Washington NC. She joined our staff in 2016 and enjoys helping patients regain their health through Chiropractic. We are proud to announce her Certified Clinical Chiropractic assistant degree in 2016. Julie works as a Chiropractic Assistant at all 3 locations.
Stacy grew up in Bear Grass, NC and moved to a small community called Farm Life in 2003 when she got married, where her and her husband are raising one daughter. She joined our team in 2016 and earned her Clinical Chiropractic Assistant certification in 2017. She enjoys helping people feel better. She has also enjoyed expanding her Chiropractic knowledge. Stacy works as a Chiropractic Assistant at all 3 locations.
Ann Marie is originally from Yorktown, VA and moved to Greenville, NC in 2017 to study at ECU. She is currently an Exercise Physiology major with intent to pursue her Ph.D. in physical therapy. Throughout her high school years, she volunteered as a student aide in the school's athletic department in combination with a mentorship program under a local physical therapist. She enjoys working with patient to be healthier and hopes that working in our Chiropractic office will only add to her experience in the health care field.
Kathryn is from New Bern, NC and is currently studying at ECU. She is a Nutrition Science major planning to be a Dietician with a concentration in Diabetes Education. She volunteers with a local dietician to teach children about diabetes and how they can manage the disease. Kathryn enjoys working at our Chiropractic office and loves helping people take steps to living a healthier lifestyle
Alexis was born and raised in Washington, NC. She went to ECU and received her bachelor's of science degree in Health Information Management. She enjoys helping Chiropractic patients and seeing their progress throughout treatment.
